Time for reflection. Walk about. Look around. A picture here, a sculpture there.
Peace of mind. Sit down. There is a stool standing there, tempting and vacant.
Creating its own space in the room without forcing itself on you.
Transformation: Ten layers of plywood cut out in a 53 cm x 125 cm rectangel and stressed to the limit of the material's capacity. No front or back and you can even sit astride it. Freedom. And you can link several to make a row. Then you can invite your friends too.

Two stools, visually inspired by a midwife´s stethoscope and the stamen of a flower. A functional as well as a visional pleasure! A break from everything serious and mercantile.
ROCKABLE
ROCKABLE was invented during a competition in 1999, entitled “Planken ud” (Walk the Plank). A plank was transformed to a stool, now produced by Orebo.
37 staves, each equipped with a turned knob, are driven into a circular foot, thus creating a convex seat for a 43 cm high stool that slightly rocks.
UNROCKABLE
UN ROCKABLE is based on ROCKABLE” and also designed in 1999.
35 staves, each equipped with a turned knob, are driven into a rectangular foot, thus creating a concave seat for a 43 cm high “Unrockable” stool.

Form
