VALVOMO ARCHITECTS
Valvomo Architects is a design and architecture studio based in Helsinki, Finland.
Valvomo was founded in 1993. Currently the staff consists of seven partners/architects/designers.
The studio works on various areas of design, from architecture and interiors to furniture and retail design. Valvomo's designs are included in the permanent collections of many international museums, including MoMA New York.
The firm has now started to work for a number of European, Japanese and North American design manufacturers, such as Offecct (Sweden), David Design (Sweden), Idée / Sputnik (Japan), Peter Pepper Products (USA), Muuto (Denmark) and Inno (Finland).
Interior design services include restaurants and offices, ad agencies and museums, there's no limit. Currently the studio is working on a retail concept in Moscow, museum renovation project, several office interior projects, restaurants, several private houses / apartments etc, to mention some.
Valvomo is strongly aiming for the international market not only in product design but also interiors and architecture.

Peter Pepper Products USA has launched new products designed by Valvomo.
Offered with 2 or 3 seats, the crater bench is lightweight, yet durable for interior and exterior use. Contoured seats and soft edges make this an excellent choise in multiple bench seating.
Roto-molded polyethylene, 100% recyclable. Tubular steel frames hidden underneath to connect individual sections. Optional security mounting available.
Size: (2-seater) 137 cm l x 50 cm d x 45 cm h (3-seater) 195 cm l x 50 cm d x 45 cm h.
SOUNDWAVE SWELL PANEL [2001]

The Swell panels are designed to be used as lightweight sound absorbers in the upper frequency range. They are well suited to eliminate disturbing reflections of environmental voice sounds, telephones and computer disk drives etc.
They can also be used to improve privacy in an open work area such as a modern office space or a restaurant.

GLOBLOW LIGHT COLLECTION [2001]

When Globlow lamp is switched on it inflates slowly to become a gently glowing globe.
Turned off it sinks quietly to sleep. The Globlow-lamps takes shape as it fills with air.
The lamp takes a different form every time it deflates.
All steel parts with powder coated aluminum finish.
Shade: white rip-stop nylon.
Lamp: low energy, max 15 W.
All models include 12 W fans.
